I’m Alex Ralph, wildlife artist and founder of Superior Recreates. This studio was built from a lifelong love of the wild—and a deep respect for the way it’s made. I grew up exploring the rivers, lakes, and forests of the Upper Midwest, and that early connection to nature has shaped both my life and my work. Today, my wife and I are raising our boys here in scenic Wisconsin, and that same love for the natural world is still at the center of everything we do.

With years of hands-on experience in wildlife recreation, I’ve had the chance to work alongside some of the most respected names in the industry. My focus has always been anatomy, structure, and movement—creating pieces that feel as real as the animals themselves. Whether it’s a museum centerpiece or a small private commission, I approach every build with the same level of care and precision.

Alongside me is my partner in life and work—a designer, writer, and curator who helps guide the creative direction of our studio. Together, we offer more than just recreations. With photography, branding, web design, and exhibit support, we help clients tell the full story behind each piece.
